ABOUT THE ALBUM
‘As the Crow Flies’ was an album born out of isolation during the first national lockdown of 2020. With all Fisherman’s Friends duties put on hold, I found myself revisiting songs that had laid dormant for far too long. Being sent to our rooms by a virus was the ‘kick up the backside’ that was needed to get recording into action, calling on some very talented friends to provide additional vocals and instrumentation (in a safe and socially distanced way). The result is a 10 track album featuring folk-inspired ballads, foot-stompers and everything in between. Released on December 4th, this is the first full-length, solo from me……. It only took until I was 40 to finally do it!

ABOUT THE E.P.
‘Safe Haven’ was an E.P. that was produced and released back in 2014, whilst I was first touring with Fisherman’s Friends, after being asked by audience members across the country if certain songs in my support act were available to download, stream or own on a shiny disc. The EP was recorded and mixed over two hectic days and was my first properly produced solo outing. The sound is course in places, lo-fi, acoustic and for some tracks captured ‘as live’ in one take but it captures perfectly the raw emotions you can get with 6 strings, 3 microphones and 1 voice. Definitely a turning point in the life of ‘Loveridge’.
